Price Ta Beshi? What You Are Paying For
The short answer: SHAPE is priced for fit and comfort you can actually wear all day, the kind of bra you end up trusting on repeat. "Price ta beshi" is one of the three most common things women say to us, and it deserves a plain answer rather than a defence. Here is what the money goes on.
What the price pays for
- A fitting, before anything else. A free, private consultation in store or on WhatsApp, by a woman trained on fit. Most bras in Dhaka are sold by guessing. Ours are not, and that is the largest single reason the first SHAPE bra usually replaces three from the drawer.
- A fabric made for this climate. A nylon-spandex knit that absorbs sweat and dries fast, in one moulded layer, cut for a lean torso and a fuller bust. Imported bras are drafted for a different body and a different weather.
- A bra that lasts the season. Hand washed, a SHAPE bra keeps its shape for 6 to 9 months of daily wear. A market bra that loosens in six weeks is not cheaper by the month.
What it costs per day
Take the Seamless Air Bra. Worn in rotation, a good bra lasts months, so the longer it serves you, the less each wear costs. The VLite, our entry bra, works out to very little a wear over its life. Compare that with a bra you stop wearing after a fortnight because it hurts.

Do you ever do discounts?
Rarely, and never on fit. Our prices are set so that we do not need a sale to be fair. If there is a credit or an offer, it will be on the site, not in a DM.
Is a cheaper bra as good as a pricier one?
It is the same fit standard and the same exchange. The difference is the cup: the VLite is light, the Signature is wide coverage with more structure. Neither is "better"; they are for different busts and different days.
Is a fitting really free, even if I don't buy?
